Putting information on a DC motor for RC car?
I am building an RC car and I can not use a servo since I I need to run to 1260 degrees really fast. I am using a DC motor controller with a DC motor. But I want to add the feed back. I do not know how to add the potentiometer or variable resistor. I thought about putting a small gear on a knob and attach another train at the DC motor shaft and connect the two by the chain, but I do not really like this idea. So if you guys have any ideas thank you in advance.
"But I really like this idea" yah, especially if your property is very fast than mine. You do not know why you need 1260 degrees, but you probably need to use optical detection from a disk with teeth or a model photo transparency.
