Electric RC Jets – Explore your options
With more progress in the control of radio and electronic technology more and more jets LR now available to enthusiasts today by taking the hobby to another level. It's a great thrill to see large-scale jets RC action. They are the pinnacle of the hobby and realistic look and sound phenomenal in the air, and built a beautiful model is very impressive to watch in flight. To see them, even if it is on the screen, they are still very impressive to look so beautifully constructed.
If are a beginner or intermediate flyer and buy a gas turbine is out of range, you can always buy a card two-stroke glow engine jet model. And if you do not want to mess engine glow plugs, you can even get it with an electric motor connected brushless electric fan called RC EDF Jet or Jet, as a cleaner option.
Of course, you lose some realism, but all the flight characteristics remain intact and that the aircraft will behave more like a jet aircraft. The Hanger 9 F-22 Raptor PTS Trainer is a great "entry level" for example. This is an electric RC Jet RTF version and comes with the FS flight simulator RC and is powered by Evolution engine and controlled by the system known JR radios.
Electric RC Jet has a great advantage. They are not affected by wind because of their sheer speed and aerodynamics, but require additional air space because of this. The only problem, however, is that they need more space for turns and aerobatic maneuvers, which brings us to another dilemma – that of losing sight of your plane! There will be times when you will not be able to see what your plan is done, which increases the risk of disorientation!
This is an excellent idea to locate your local club RC because it has several advantages. One of them is that you will always find fans ready to help with anything you want – perhaps even an instructor. Local clubs RC organize events in several categories such as gas and jet powered powered scale, pylon racing, etc. So it's worth trying!
So as you can see there are many options to your available if you want to enter RC jet flight. But flying the aircraft requires a lot of skills, acquired after much experience in flying other models slower, which there are many to choose from. And if adrenaline is the best of you, it is better to keep control because it is always better to work your way up to advanced RC aircraft rather than jumping into the deep end of Jets RC electric or gas that have little or no training ending losing your precious dear love RC Jet for its first flight.
