NO, I do not think so. Here is a link to an informative site on fuel; http://www.rchobbies.org/understanding_fuel.htm Methanol is a type of alcohol, but not the same type as the rubbing alcohol. If you try, you'll need to add oil 2-stroke. You cause much damage to your engine without oil, if you can somehow get it to start. The oil is used to cool and lubricate the engine during operation.
