Walkera 5G6 RC Helicopter Review
Discussion Walkera 5G6 / opinion
This small helicopter is my first helicopter co-axial. I bought the Walkera 5G6 with metal rotor head and the transmitter 2.4G. It's a bit more expensive than the standard Walkera 5G6 with head rotor plastic and normal 35 or 72 MHz transmitter. The Walkera 5G6 is the same size as Walkera 4 # 3. The only difference is that the Walkera 5G6 two main rotor cons blades and tail rotor pitch. Compared with the Walkera 4 # 3, Walkera 5G6 weighs 53g, a little heavier because of the extra main engine.
As I said in my Walkera 4 # 3 review, the engineers who design Walkera have again put a beautiful little helicopter (Walkera 5G6 on) there for all tastes. This small helicopter will amaze you with its easy to fly and stable flight characteristics.

Technical and design Your opinion
The Walkera Dragonfly 5G6 (2.4GHz) 4CH PPM RC Helicopter RTF w / Alloy Metal Rotor Head, is a helicopter stronger compared to the standard Walkera 5G6, 2.4GHz transmitter and provides peace of mind with a strong anti-interference and no seeds.
Let's start with the main rotor. On top of the main rotor, stabilizing bar of metal across the main axis of the blocks with stabilizer bar on each point. The stabilizer bar blocks are weights that give the little Walkera 5G6 exceptional stability. The stabilizer bar is connected to the upper main rotor with a link. This link can be solved if the monitoring of key rotor blades came out. The upper blade rotor rotates in the sense of sight is up and the tree happening inside the bottom of the rotor shaft. Both upper and lower blades of the rotor blade holders of metal.
The rotor blades are strong, durable plastic. The rotation of the rotor blades substantive counterclockwise from above. Through the system of counter rotating rotor torque Walkera 5G6, was canceled and there is no need for a tail rotor. The vibrating plate is located below the bottom of the main rotor and is connected by two links to the holder of the rotor blades of substance.
The Walkera 5G6 swash plate 90 º metal that is connected to the aileron and elevator servos with adjustable links. 3.5g servos are fast reaction with control inputs. The elevator and aileron servos are located behind the tree principal. The servos simply clips into position on the main frame that makes replacement easy if necessary. The Walkera 5G6 Both engines were brushed with powerful magnets. A motor drives the bottom of the main rotor and the second the top rotor.
The Walkera 5G6 have a receiver with four channels (elevator, aileron, rudder and gas). The gyro and speed controller is built into the receiver. The gyro sensitivity can be adjusted to suite your skills flight. The servo position can also be set to the receiver.
The Li-Po (3.7V 400mAh) battery Walkera 5G6 of about 8-10 gives minutes of flight time. It simply slides under the battery, which makes battery changes very easy. The landing skids are extremely thin spring steel, and although they are very light, I think they'll handle a hard landing with ease without breaking.
The tail is made of plastic and has a small tail rotor just for show. Due to the cons rotating blade main rotor, the torque is canceled while is not necessary for a true tail rotor to counteract torque. Overall, the Walkera 5G6 have three ball bearings to ensure high quality the proper functioning of all moving parts.
The Walkera 5G6 is supplied with a battery charger Li-Po. A light glows red while charging, and a green light flashing after loading is completed. It will take approximately 40-60 minutes for the Li-Po to be fully charged after the flight.
Setup: The Walkera 5G6 is a loan out of the helicopter box. No assembly required. Perform a background check lose all components before your first flight. You need to recharge the Li-Po of the helicopter, and the transmitter, you need eight AA batteries. They are not supplied with the kit Walkera 5G6.
Flight performance
Take flight watch over you first. Do not assume that the helicopter is cut correctly. Go first and trim the helicopter so it is still in a place without any input from the elevator, rudder and aileron stickers on the transmitter.
The first thing I noticed is the surprising stability of the Walkera 5G6 during the flight. If the helicopter is trimmed out, you can literally remove your hands controls and the helicopter will hover in one place happily. Rudder inputs are very sensitive, and gyro sensitivity can be adjusted for a response faster if necessary.
I found the elevator and aileron responses to be a bit slow at first but have adjusted the servo extension to give more cyclical movement. To move forward we must really give a good amount of depth to the bottom, but that is typical for coaxial helicopters. Like wise flying back, left and right. You must remember that these little helicopters are very stable, so you need lots of entries cyclical change direction, with the exception of the rudder.
Hovering the Walkera 5G6 is very easy. This is Therefore I recommend to anyone Walkera 5G6 Helicopter from rc / Vol. If you are looking for a nice little helicopter you can fly in your home, this helicopter will do. Thanks to its exceptional stability, you can fly and land the Walkera 5G6 in small areas. The Walkera 5G6 is very quiet during the flight.
Reasons to buy the Walkera 5G6 (2.4GHz) 4CH PPM RC Helicopter RTF w / Head, metal alloy rotor
The Walkera 5G6 is a small helicopter exceptionally stable inside.
It is very easy to drive, making it a good entry level helicopter for beginners or just for fun if you have flying experience.
The accumulation of gyro is very effective.
It can fly up, down, left, right, left and right and yaw can still hover in the air.
It is cheap maintain.
The parts are easy to obtain.
The Walkera 5G6 is highly resistant to impact.
Transition into forward flight is good.
It can be performed outdoors in no wind.
And it's not so expensive to buy.
Conclusion
If you want a really small field fixed coaxial channel four helicopters, this small Walkera 5G6 will not disappoint you not. I highly recommend this new (2.4GHz) 4CH PPM RC Helicopter RTF w / Alloy Metal Rotor Head Walkera more. If you are a newcomer or experienced R / C helicopter pilot, you will enjoy flying this little engineering marvel. Keep in mind that the Walkera 5G6 is inside a helicopter. For a few dollars more, I prefer to go to the metal rotor head and the 2.4 GHz version.
Wow … you be surprised
