
RTF Helicopters, Are They Really Ready To Fly?
Electric RC Helicopters have benefited from a surge in popularity due to recent significant improvements in radio control and the electronics industry. As their components to improve quality while at the same time getting cheaper in price, many manufacturers start beginners models labeled as RTF or ready to fly "- but are they really?
In fact, the phrase "ready to fly," was born in the days of more "traditional" RC Aviation. What this means in reality, at least initially, was "no assembly required." He does not RTF kits that requires no adjustments, tuning or tinkering before becoming airborne.
Today, however, new novice pilots with this hobby expect their new model which comes the word "flight right out of the box" to do exactly that. Unfortunately this is not always the case.
Very often, beginners realize that RTF helicopter pilots are not so ready fly "when they learn that they remain in the air is very difficult, especially for the four channel models. Although there are models Co-axle available that are relatively easier to handle, they also need training hours.
In addition, these helicopters with their blades rotor rotating at an extremely rapid rate can lead to serious injury. However, there are helicopters that are truly ready to fly "right of the box. These are 2-channel models like the famous Picoo Z. Not only are they ready to fly, they are Palm-size, allowing for them to be flown a little everywhere is no wind. These leaflets are also not sustainable, for their resistance to crash after the accident. However, they are much less tractable the four channel models.
Overall, there are many types of kits RTF and some are more "ready to fly" than others. Those models who want to work transparently to the right of the box can simply 2-channel models, thus compromising the handling. Other hand, those who want more flight models can range from 4 different channels, only to discover they are not as ready to fly as advertised. However, these kits RTF provides a great lesson for fans new to this hobby, one that teaches them to fly and enjoy the infinite the establishment, change and improve their models.
