Why do I RC Servos in a helicopter?
I'm new to RC, but tries to build a helicopter. I understand that I need an ESC to control the motors, a ucontroller the production of these signals as well as gyroscopes and accelerometers to maintain balance. Where can servos into the picture? Pls help TKS
accelerometer? I've never heard of this being a RC helicopter. Well … It depends on what type of helicopter that you generate. Is there a helicopter fixed pitched noise? or not? Otherwise, the servos help tilt the blade so as to create lift and take the helicopter take off. Yes … servos tilt the blades help to advance helicopter, rear, left and right. It is done by moving what is called a wobble on the helicopter. Fix Helicopter slope usually require 2 servos, but sloping demand helicopter 3-4. 3 for the main and sometimes the 1 tail rotor, if the helicopter is Belt helicopter engine. As it works on 1 motor instead of 2. I think the best thing for you to buy an RC helicopter before attempting to build one.
