Model Flying Made Easy – Crash As often as you want while you learn!
rate of an aircraft model as a hobbies most intriguing. Very little can compare to the experience of seeing your first RC airplane or helicopter take flight. For non-pilots, because someone else fly an RC aircraft is extremely captivating. Often so captivating that it makes you want to learn to fly!
Then the story begins. You spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to buy your first airplane / helicopter plus a little over one hundred radio, fuel, batteries, gyros, glow plug box flight, charger, fuel pumps, motors, starters and a hundred different things tells you that the store is a must. Just when you thought the cash spill finally ends, it does not!
New RC pilots quickly learn their first lesson – it is hard to beat! So what? Easy, get an instructor! Well, it also means more money and some hours of lesson time. Whatever! In a penny for a penny! You take those lessons and learn everything you can from the instructor (expensive). Nice soon, you can fly "half" of the time! Great!
Then finally the time passes and you are truly on your own. This should be OK, since you are now "half" a pilot – or if you thought. On your next flight, you fly RC / helicopter out and attempt your first solo flight. Suddenly, for some reason you do not understand, you lose control and crash. Ideals, you attach the craft, spent (much) more than a few dollars and hit the field to fly again. You finally understand why you have crushed the last time, and you overcome. Wonderful! But this time, there is another obstacle, you turn the camera in front of you, you are disoriented and then – Yeah – another accident. You deal with them; try again, crash again and again and again – and again. Within months, a dozen crashes and thousands of dollars later, you finally learn to fly! Wow Great end!
This story is repeated over and over to each new driver. No matter how careful, a new pilot project will plant more than a few times in their learning. In doing so, they have to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, this fact "was" absolutely true – before!
No More!
Today, new driver can learn to fly without having to pay for expensive trainers. Better yet, they can crash their planes as often as they want without having to spend money to fix it! How? The answer is a CD-Rom, flight simulators!
To be fair, RC flight simulators are not new. In fact, they have been around since the 80s. But flight simulators at the beginning were very realistic and so expensive that it might be cheaper to crash your model is a hundred times.
Fortunately, competition and technology has changed all that. rivals realistic flight simulators modern "than the last game of the computer – in other words, extraordinary. Some versions come with an exact replica of a real radio controller as a joy stick, others come with a cable connection that allows learning to connect their favorite drivers RC controller, very good versions allow for both options.
The physics engine which come incorporated in these simulated flights are also the best programming modern technology permits. In short, everything that can and will happen on the real airfield can and will happen in flight simulation to 99.99% accuracy. And this is not an exaggeration.
Price these simulators RC is down too. Really a good brand and good simulators cost around $ 300 dollars. Others who are just as good are available for a bit less than one hundred dollars. The best deals are even cheaper than that, they are free! Do not believe that free RC simulators do not match, they offer features that compete with their counterparts from high prices. Yet even the most expensive package will pay for itself on the very first crash simulation you (And you'll do lots of them).
So there you have it, the best way to learn to fly an RC model today is a crash, crash, crash, crash and a little more until you have it! Of course, not stuck on a flight simulator where it will not cost a penny.
