T maxx rc car help!?
Tmaxx I had a friend and he was not fit at all. I got it when I started, but give it some gas it just sits in the habit and go. I take the truck off and everything suitable for the transmission apart and cleaned it back together and still nothing. when I turn the slipper clutch should move the wheels? I also noticed when I turn the bar (not sure of the exact name) which turns the wheels of the gear not moving. Do I just need a new transmission or is it something else if Please help! Thank you
Inside the transmission is a tree that gear and slipper clutch is attached to the (tree top). It is a gear with a bearing of a road inside the transmission that runs on the tree (located next to the screw the shift point to two speeds). The one-way bearing allows the engine to turn freely on the shaft in one direction but grip of the ant tree, turn if the other direction. It is part of the mechanism to self-two-speed shifting. Take all the components out of the tree and inspect it closely, especially in the area where the train with the ball is one way. If there is a sign of wear on the tree at this point, replace the tree. Testing the influence Bearing way on this route by hand will not tell you if the tree is bad or not.
