My son wants to be RC Toy Car Story for Halloween. Any suggestions on how to make this costume?
I prefer to buy, but can not find anywhere.
omg this is too cute! Well first off, it will be a box (big), because he will have to wear. My son had a box of Band-Aids a year and I made this costume Scratch a big box store that I had. What I did first I found a box to be the "base" of the costume. You want to adapt the box to your child, cut the head / arm holes and decorate last. You can add more boxes smaller sizes to get the shape you want. Coffee cans to tires (painted black well course) white paper plates for the front headlight / eyes, etc. You'd be surprised at the things you can find around your house to use for a costume. Paper Toilet / paper towel rolls to the tail pipe (spray painted silver) can really go to town! For over a triangular Search of reference you could use a box to flatter the body, then bend a flat piece of cardboard into a "V" and that attatch to the front of the car a sportier look. Things like that. I know that the RC car was a light blue (I think), just pay attention to detail the what looks like the car and try to copy it on the costume! : O)
