I can hardly keep my Nitro RC car engine, 15 alive. It starts and stops suddenly inexplicably.?
Engine RC nitro car will start with a plate but stops immediately after idle unless I keep the filling in slow motion on my remote high. With a little gas engine is still running but stops when left idle for a second or two. I also let the glow plug in the engine while it is running to keep it alive. I'm still breaking in the engine and have not turned the engine at full speed yet. Is this what I'm supposed to do? The instructions in the manual are incorrect as the following will not be allowed to start the engine. Im new these nitro RC cars and would apreciate anyone with experience to help me. The fuel I use contains 20% oil. It is breaking fuel. I need to know things like what should look like smoke? How should it be, and as much information as you can give me. A Another thing a lot of oil around the engine is this normal? I mean in places like the spark plug hole and shaft drive. How devil Is it happen?
Try this site. I broke in 3 engines with this practice and they all 10 + gallons on them. One of the best methods I've seen running. If you do not have a temp gun, I strongly suggest you buy one. If you oil everywhere, you might head gasket leak. Make sure your screws are tight. Also, make sure the candle is tight.
