How Crystals remote work?
I have an RC car and sometimes I spend the crystals in it that allow it to capture emissions different frequency in different remotes. But how does it work? The crystals vibrate or something? Why only some crystals respond to certain frequencies? Did they? I really dont get it.
I had to look again, even if I used Control of crystal in my transmitter when I was licensed Novice in 1968. This article explains wikipedia the piezoelectric effect fairly well, and it is easy to understand.
