Schematic of the infrared or radio controller.?
Can someone show me some good diagrams how to build a radio or infrared transmitter and a receiver for an RC car. My budget is about $ 20.
Infrared can be deceiving. Radio Controlled models using a system designed for this purpose. It is as it is not worth making your own. You can buy a very cheap car remote controlled toys around this budget, or put on an old hand. Use bits of it. There will be a receiver and speed control and steering servo in general. Your budget is not enough to make one if you do not have access to cheap (used) parties. Some parts and technical expertise. Mass production is cheaper, so what you buy in a store that is cheaper loan. Base very infrared uses a battery, a switch and an oscillator with an infrared diode for transmission, and a photodiode (filtered for infrared) with an amplifier and a MOSFET switch or as a receiver. The first link below is a reasonable example of the most basic. If you want more IR channels should be integrated circuits and microprocessors and a lot of style, if you want to transmit analog speed control for a motor. Remotes handheld does not make this thing analog control. You can use a remote control television etc., using different buttons for speed different. Still need to design your own receiving party. The remote receiver on a TV using an embedded microprocessor system. You can do this as a learning exercise, but just a box and switches, and a battery are more than $ 20. The second link shows some ideas Basic remote control based on radio modules. This does not give you the type of control you want, more of a garage door opener. Third link shows a few other ideas.
