Newbie General Questions on Nitro RC cars?.
I'm considering buying a Nitro RC. Either a buggy or a truck, something very real off-road, but I have a few questions. 1. About how much does the fuel, and how long does it last? As How many dollars worth of fuel do you think the average person would not be 30 minutes through the conduct of one? 2. Are they designed to roll in the sand? As you can go to the beach all day, or would it get ruined sand get inside it? 3. What about water? Can you drive through puddles without damaging them? 4. How about mud? Can you go through the marsh mud and hose them off afterwards? 5. What considered as a powerful engine? I see .15 's, .18' s, 28 'S and inbetween. What size engine do you usually need to go 60mph in a buggy or truck. 6. What are the advantages / disadvantages of a 4×4 truck vs a 4×4 buggy? 7. I saw some electric ones (even for less $ 100) who say they can reach speeds of those nitro. Are those electric is fine? Thank you.
Well …. its hard to say for question number 1. I would just say 5-10 dollars for a gallon or 2. and you go threw 2 tanks full within 30 minutes of driving, but it depends on how that's hard way, like if you go low speeds take it easy, not much fuel, ya know? for # 2 so they can go in the sand, but it may damage a little, you can also drive it threw water and mud, but it needs something to cover the servos and stuff like that search on Google for ways to water, sand proof, you need not worry as much about mud, I just would not go and spray with water if you can clean the outside, but not both actuators and electrical stuff. # 5 of a powerful engine is dependent on you led it, you want to go 60 miles, then you should get like a 18 or .16, # 6, the advantages or stroller is its normally faster, but trucks are more powerful and more fresh look in my opinion. # 7 if you want to go off road you DO NOT want to trust my current nitro may need a little tuning but they are faster, more Strong, Funner, and have longer run times and electric + electric charge and need not run so long as you can charge for 5 hours and duration of 5 minutes hope that helped.
