Problems starting my nitro RC car engine?
Well, I finished building a 1/10th scale nitro RC car. Theoretically it should work fine! I put fuel in (fuel recommended for running in new engine for my rc local shop), he surfaced, put the light began to load up and pull the cord and nothing … I tried several times and each time it wouldnt start. I do not know what to do now. I checked the spark plug to see if it worked and it worked fine! I thought that perhaps the carbouretta? I know that to adjust the fuel ratio of air intake you turn the black carbouretta near the inlet to the right or to the right anti, but I do not know exactly that the ratio / how many laps in what direction to do so. I tried to guess a few times but the engine does not start. Any help? I not a manual to verify that the settings are for the engine and the carburetor does not have a number.
does the carb have a number to this? What brand? Each carb has its own recommended settings and they can vary considerably. I would try to loosen the glow plug AAND try to start it, then release only about 1 / 2 turn. try to put the carburetor to original factory settings, it should say what they were the manual
