Is this the guy who "forgot" his adopted son in a car and the boy died truly deserves forgiveness?

A man whose Loudoun County adopted toddler died after being left in a sport utility vehicle in the sun was acquitted this morning of manslaughter by a judge in Fairfax County who said no imprisonment will cause more suffering than it has ever been. "http://mobile.washingtonpost.com/news.jsp?key=328936&rc=me The guy did not kill an innocent little boy and it was a cruel death. Imagine how it felt for the baby to be stifled by the heat! And now what? This horrible "father" did not receive anything for her, as it was not a murder! Parents should assume responsibility for their children, even adopted, should not they?

Firstly, the fact that the boy was adopted means nothing. Adopted children are loved as much as natural children. So please do not suggest the man do that because wanted to kill his adopted son II. First, it was an accident and not intentional. I know that you and I do not understand how one could forget their child in a car, but until you've been in this situation you do not know a thing. I know that accidents happen and that more than likely that this man made a mistake. Tragic, but a mistake none the less. You have made too many mistakes in your life, now granted it is not at the expense of someone's life. But still, this father has lost a child. Whether or not his fault, it was an accident and it is devastating for him. I believe that living with the knowledge that your error has killed your child is haunting enough for life. He did not need to go to jail. This sentence will be long life even if not behind bars. And parents who take children up in a bottle of medicine and the child dies of an overdose? Should they be punished beyond the year with them the knowledge that their child's death was the result of a mistake? Will you call murderers too? You need a more forgiving spirit. These parents have suffered a huge loss. Do not kick them while they are down.
