rc car kids
Help robotics? :]?

My friends and I decided that we want to build a robot (were in high school, and not a bunch of kids who are confused about how we can make a robot "produce", do not worry) We want to be part of a RC car and use the parts to build our robot, but we're not sure if this is (a) possible and (b) a good idea. We also LEGO Mindstorms this thing available, but will go in the "arm" of our robot, and not the base. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can use to the basis of our robot (and if the CR is a good idea)? The base must be able to move in all directions, so we thought that the command remote-car-taking-out might work. Any other ideas and suggestions are certainly welcome! Thank you!

Yes, it can be done. Take the car out carefully and make sure you do not disconnect or failure of the son. try using the original control panel can be more difficult than building your own. You need a significant knowledge of circuits and signals in order to resolve what type of impetus command, for example, the steering servo and a way to create control pulses directly from what you've entered. At the secondary level, this means a significant amount of research on the net. Also try to get your instructor electronically schools concerned. This can be a very creative fun and learn many things that will be useful especially for students in engineering. Cheers and good luck edit I use a Radio Shack powered electric four-wheel drive chassis, they seem to have much power and ability of any land for little money.
