Can I keep photocopies attested (by a responsible official) documents a car?
Hi all, I have a request. Is it legal to keep photocopies of faith, CR and insurance instead of keeping the original? I wonder if coz if, in case of theft, it would be very easy for the thief sell the car with all original docs intact. I have a faint idea that we can keep photocopies attested, which was published in the TOI around 5-6 years back, but I'm not sure. Can someone please cite the law if it is true.
