Methanol on Nitro Fueled RC Cars
There are many things needed to take note and still much to learn about owning a remote controlled car. Also, the difference between electronic powered cars between a nitro fueled has to be mastered accordingly.
Among the more important things needed to manage nitro-powered RC cars, there are three important facts you should know about fuel nitro and what it does for your car. The basic elements of a nitro fuel mixtures have three. First, there are methyl alcohol or otherwise known as methanol, then there is the nitro-methane or simply called nitro, and oil of course. Although these components May sound so technical (especially the first), supply of fuel for your nitro car is not that difficult, because you can buy the blended fuel without problem via online or directly from your shops, hobby room.
Now we return to methanol or other names that like alcohol methyl carbinol, wood alcohol, wood naphtha or wood alcohol. What it does is it provides the power for the engine's power and primary, to be provided to RC cars running on Nitro. An ideal fuel is mainly because it is not as flammable and it tends to release more energy per pound compared to gasoline.
A disadvantage of using methanol is that it can intoxicate, but does not kill you directly because it is not toxic. Once exposed, toxic breakdown in the body caused by forms of alcohol dehydrogenase formic acid in the liver, which eventually leads to blindness. Be careful not to inhale the fuel or have the skin to absorb. Be sure to contact a medical expert for any suspected central nervous system depression occurs.
But back to the main object of methanol to RC cars, it is important to stimulate the energy of your RC car and overall performance. It is also affordable compared to gas if expenses should not be any problem with this type of fuel.
