Can I replace my rc car antenna with wire length?
My RC car antenna broken in two pieces of wire from bending tube antenna too. Its an AM receiver thats factory. Could I take the receiver out carefully and replace the antenna cable with wire Gage even in a hardware store? I do not want to send the RC car to the manufacturer if I can easily fix myself.
Both good answers. But I can not tell you how many times I've replaced a broken antenna with a coat hanger that I opened, bent double, twisted on itself and stuck in the hole of the antenna original was in. It will not only work in a pinch …. it will work indefinitely. Been there-done!
