Changes on a '98 Firebird?
I have a 98 Firebird that I love and would not trade for anything (I'll drive this thing until the gas is obsolete!) lol I want to make some modifications to it and I want to ask all of you if they can be made: 1. Can I install a steering wheel with controls (radio, cruise, etc.) built into the car and wire up the computer recognizes it or not? 2. I get headlight conversion kit so it has the same style as the flagship Corvette recent (no more flip-up) Has anyone seen this on a Firebird or Camaro? 3. Would put an air of the hood of RAM on the connection and give me more HP? 4. I have a duel Flo-Master exhaust system but my car is a V-6. Is what I can put to scold like a V-8? That's about all consmetic / small things, but as I said, I love this car (and love that race! You should see the faces of these guys when they catch up in Mustangs!):) Any help would be great!
1. As long as you wire sorted, it should go. 2. No, sorry …. have not seen that. It looked spectacular, if well done, though. I'm tired of the FLIPUP mine (2000 Firebird) 3. It will no longer power up. The car will feel faster, and you do a little more about the wheels. Not much, but a little. 4. Try bomblets. They are traditionally known for their deep Rumble. I have a game on my 1971 Mustang, but they have universal pipes, so you can put them on almost any what car.
