lipo rc car batteries
Can anyone help me with some tips on Electric R / C Cars?

I love nitro rc cars. The sound, smell, raw power. But I hate the agony of development, starting, and how they can get messy. I want a truck or buggy electrical, but I'm very intimidated by the battery, loading, unloading, amplifiers, Hertz and other crap. I want to enjoy this hobby, and not rack my brain on rocket science to go electric. Can anyone help me with a good way to make a fast electric motor without entering the side very expensive. I do not really want to go with Lipo batteries either. Im watching Associated T4 RTR. What would make it to around 40 + and have a longer term as Well? What are some good chargers, batteries, etc.? Please help.

I am very skilled with electric R / C. Between me and my best friend that we currently have 8 R / C and have converted all scales of R / C 1/18th scale to 1/8th scale buggies and truggies to 1/10th and 1/8th Monster Truck and everywhere in between. First, I think you should reconsider the option lipo. You can find good batteries for very cheap, and 20 + lipos i have, I never had an explosion or fire or something. Firstly, experience, MAXAMPS AVOID AT ALL COSTS. These batteries are expensive and low-power, but the wages of all magazines and websites a lot of money, so we well say that their products really crappy. If you speak or ask anything of poor quality of their batteries in their support forum, their evil dictator Advertising is a moderator who will delete the post and, possibly, suspend or ban you. It may be tempting because it is the only Manufacturer lipo-American, but because of U.S. regulations, all cells must be manufactured in China and imported, where you pay $ 100 more compared to prices of competitors have U.S. workers put in a box and ship them to you. Anyways, back from rant, like batteries most are Zippy. Turnigy and Rhino lipos. They are unquestionably the best bang for your money, and in some cases are less expensive than NiMH batteries. They can be found from Hobbycity.com, which is a trustworthy company and very reliable. Most of their products are located in Hong Kong and shipped to you internationally. you can also get a charger is also cheap. To begin with my recommendations, I'll list them by category: TRUCK: Assuming your question you want to stay aboard trucks 1/10th scale. For bashing and just plain horsing, you're paris top with Slash, AE SC10 or traxxas Rustler. I was a cattle thief, and having a video of it going 65 mph, getting crushed by a car and drive away. These trucks have all transmissions, metal withstand the torque and power brushless electric systems. If you want to run the RC10T4 is a good choice. All you have to do is to buy a gear upgrade tensioner metal transmission. MOTOR / CONTROLLER FOR SPEED: All motors and speed controller that I made for scale 10, I recommend one company: Castle Creations. They undoubtedly create the most powerful options for brushless cars and trucks, and have the best service Customer EVER! I killed 5 speed controllers abuse, poor settings and have replaced all alone, without charge. For the engine, I recommend Castle Creations CMS36-4600 motor. This motor is a 4600Kv motor, which means it does 4600 rpm per volt. Thus it is 1V at 4600 RPM, 2 volts = 9200rpm, etc. may be the lower Kv rating of the bunch that makes Castle creations, but Kv largest does not always mean faster. The higher the Kv, the more power under development, and more heat is carried by the engine. You can run on lower voltages too. The higher the Kv motor is, the more torque you have, the more gearing options you, and the battery more options you have. The 7700Kv motor is running at 56,980 rpm to its maximum voltage of 7.4 V, while the engine is running at 4600Kv 51,060 rpm at it's maximum voltage of 11.1. almost the same rpm, but 4600 will run more efficiently with less heat, and with more torque. just to you know, the 4600kv motor is available as a combo with 2 speed controls, I recommend, but is also available for $ 100 seperatley. For light commercial and shopping, 1:10 Castle Creation Sidewinder is an excellent choice. He used a truck 1/10th as well T4. With it, I would buy a castle link, which lets you connect the speed controller in your computer and allows you to tame your controller! Options include the power and punch of your car has power brakes, options for changing the speed of your reverse and even turn off reverse. You can set Options cutoff voltage battery protect your lipos from a deep discharge (later), and update the software on your controller speed, making it as good as the very current controllers, regardless of age. It is $ 89.99, or $ 160 with the engine. For pure power, there is the Castle Mamba Max. This thing is a beast. Designed for configurations disposed in 1/10th scale, it is still capable of running light configurations in 1/8th scale buggy without dying. Even better is that it has a USB port right on the speed controller, if yo do not need to buy Linking castle Tune / tame / update. It has all the same options for setting the Sidewinder, it offers a bit more power. It starts at 160 For only $ controller, or $ 250 with the engine. People swear by this controller. It is amazing. BATTERIES: with batteries, there are some things that will help you with terminology. Lipo cells are nominally 3.7 volts fully charged to 4.2 volts, and can be discharged to 3.0 volts. This is where the "S"
